At Jahzara's Way, we’re committed to advocate, educate, empower, and support individuals and families effected by brain injuries. Our vision for you and your loved ones with exceptional care in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere is to become the premier provider of support, research, and services for the brain injury community.
Located in Warren, New Jersey Jahzara's Way is known for our continuous advocacy for the TBI community, it's giving, and support throughout the area. We believe that bringing awareness to brain injury is just the first step to prevention of this invisible epidemic. Support and giving must directly follow awareness to empower injured individuals and their families towards new experiences they can now enjoy.
WHAT IS TBI
Traumatic Brain Injury
A Traumatic Brain Injury ( TBI) is caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head that disrupts the normal function of the brain. Not all blows or jolts to the head result in a TBI. The severity of a TBI may range from “mild” (i.e., a brief change in mental status or consciousness) to “severe” (i.e., an extended period of unconsciousness or memory loss after the injury). Most TBIs that occur each year are mild, commonly called concussions.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) claims the lives of 153 American's everyday. TBI can occur through falls, auto-accidents, and lastly through athletics. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, annually there are 2.8 million Traumatic Brain Injuries in the United States. Of the Traumatic Brain Injuries recorded yearly there are:
2.5 million TBI Emergency visits
Approximately 282,000 TBI-related hospitalizations
Approximately 56,000 TBI-related deaths
Given the above facts and nifying the mission of Jahzara's Way through partnering with those who share our vision, together we can begin to take the necessary steps to support, advocate, educate, and empower injured individuals and their families towards new experiences they can now enjoy.
DESTINY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
DESTINY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM are four scholarships to help continue the development, and education for brain injury survivors, caregivers, athletes and students attending a two or four year college .

JW’s BRAIN WAVES is an educational podcast that provides brain injury awareness through the use of interviews and a commentator with individuals, families, researchers, and health care professionals.
